Andrew Jelmert began his real estate career more than 25 years ago, primarily to establish his own personal financial portfolio and for helping his friends who were seeking advice on how and where to invest their savings. A graduate of Cooper Union in New York City, Andrew spent his early professional career teaching "Quantitative Methods of Anaylsis" at the university level. His analytical skills and ability to simplify the complex are invaluable tools when communicating with both buyers and sellers.
Michael Locke began his real estate career in 2002, after successful careers as a high school football coach in suburban Washington, D.C. and in corporate equipment sales for the Ingersoll Rand Company. For more than 25 years, he has been investing in a wide range of real estate holdings with his partner Andrew Jelmert. In 2002, Michael joined Andy at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Los Feliz, along with Michael’s wife Donna Jean Titus (formerly of Titus Real Estate). Within the year, both Michael Locke and Andy Jelmert distinguished themselves as Architectural Specialists by the firm's ARCHITECTURAL DIVISION in recognition of their knowledge and record of accomplishment listing and selling architecturally- significant properties.
After a six month leave of absence from real estate, Andrew joined Michael at Keller Williams forming the Locke & Partners Team in May 2011.. Michael Locke is deeply involved in the community. While living in Silver Lake, he served as Vice Chair of the local neighborhood Council (SLNC) and founded the Silver Lake Beautification Committee. An accomplished photojouirnalist, he is Publisher and Editor of "The Silver Lake News " and writes a column for the "Los Feliz Ledger" . He lives with his wife Donna Jean in the historic Beaton House ("La Casa Contenta) in Los Feliz with their two dogs, Buddy and Abbey and thier pet caique (parrot), Zach. They are members of the First Congregational Church of Los Angeles where Michael serves as a newly-designated trustee. They are also active members of the Los Feliz Improvement Association, where Michael serves as a Director.
Paolo Filippini grew up in Florence where he developed a keen interest in art and architecture. Moving to Los Angeles in 1990, he attended California State University at Dominguez Hills, earning a Master of Business Administration degree. Real estate came quite natural to him, largely as a result of his business savvy and love for the architecture of homes. He has been investing in real estate for the past seventeen years, renovating and "flipping" properties and a realtor since 2002.
